Coronary Heart Disease (CHD)

Western Medicine Approach -- Stent

Coronary Heart Disease (CHD) is characterized by decreased blood flow to the heart muscles and tissues.  The root cause of CHD is due to the atherosclerosis of the coronary arteries, which gradually narrow and block the coronary arteries.

It can lead to the malfunction of heart accompanied by chest tight, shortness of breath, chest pain, angina pectoris, heart attack, cardiac infarction, etc.  It is one of the leading causes of death in the United States.

Western Medicine (WM) treatments for CHD usually involve the angioplasty and stent procedure.  The WM procedure has the following disadvantages:

(1) As a surgery, the angioplasty and stent procedure will break and interfere with the meridian channels inside the body.

(2) The angioplasty and stent are mechanical procedures opening up the coronary arteries.  So they addressing the symptom of CHD only.

(3) Because they do not treat the root cause of CHD, the CHD disease process will continue to progress and develop after angioplasty or stent.

(4) Reclosure (restenosis) will happen after the stent procedure.  Although drug-eluting stents are developed, the drugs will cause side effects when they are acting, and the reclosure will come back again when the drugs decay and run out.

(5) Patients who've had a stent procedure must take blood-thinning chemical drugs such as aspirin and clopidogrel.  Aspirin is used indefinitely; clopidogrel is used for one or more months (depending on the type of stent) after the procedure. All the drugs have side effects to liver, kidney, stomach, etc.

(6) One stent can only open one closure of coronary artery.  If other locations are closed, more stent procedures are needed.

(7) Stent is a foreign object inside body, which might cause immune response.  In the long run, it may lead to some side reactions.

(8) Stent may have a life span.  When it wears out, replacement surgery may be needed.

(9) Similar to all surgeries, angioplasty and stent procedures also involve risks and side reactions.

There are so many disadvantages associated with the angioplasty and stent procedure.  Then the question is: Is there alternative treatment to avoid the angioplasty and stent procedure?  The answer is yes.

ACMA Treatment -- Stent Prevention

ACMA has successfully treated many coronary heart disease (CHD) patients by means of Chinese Herbal Medicine (CHM).

Up to today, all CHD patients treated at ACMA have successfully avoided angioplasty and stent.  All of them go back to work and resume their routine daily activities after their coronary heart disease signs and symptoms are cleared and removed by ACMA treatments.  These CHD patients are clinically cured based on both CHM criteria and Western Medicine criteria.  None of them needs or has received angioplasty and stent.

The successful coronary heart disease treatments at ACMA prove that many coronary heart disease patients can avoid angioplasty and stent procedures if they receive CHM treatments by qualified Chinese Medicine Doctor (CMD).

However, probably due to short of information and communication, most coronary heart disease patients in the United States (including former president Bill Clinton and vice president Dick Cheney) do not know that angioplasty and stent can be avoided.  They are not aware that they can be successfully treated by means of CHM under qualified CMD directions.

Unfortunately, most CHD patients in America have received angisplasty and stent procedures.  Some of them even received twice, three times, or more times repeatedly.  This is really a pity to the CHD patients in the United States.

ACMA understands that many work will be needed in order to educate American patients and the public on this issue, and enable more American CHD patients get access to CHM -- a more safe and effective natural medicine for coronary heart disease.

ACMA Treatment -- Heart Attack Prevention

Sudden death from heart attack is one of the leading causes of death in the United States.  This fact indicates that Western Medicine treatments of heart diseases are ineffective, and cannot prevent the sudden death of heart attacks.

Chinese Herbal Medicine (CHM), however, can successfully prevent heart attack and associated sudden deaths.

Up to today, all ACMA patients of various heart diseases have avoided heart attacks and are in much better conditions than they were before receiving ACMA CHM treatments.  Their cardiac functions have been improved based on both Chinese Medicine and Western Medicine criteria.

In order to reduce the death rates from heart attacks in the United States, government should provide patients and the public with the CHM treatment information, which could significantly reduce the heart attack death rate and save thousands and millions of people's lives.
