Bob
Xu, CMD, MS
Dr.
Bob Xu is the author
of many articles and publications that first pointed out that the FDA's standard randomized
controlled trial (RCT) could not be applied to Chinese
Medicine, answered the historic question Is Chinese
Medicine scientific?, proposed the mathematical
herbal medicine, and laid
out the scientific foundation for Chinese Medicine. He
is the
contributor on Chinese Herbal Medicine and
Formulation for
the Textbook
of Complementary and Alternative Medicine, and
the first author
of the Handbook
of Chinese Medicine. He
obtained
a Doctor of Chinese Medicine (CMD) degree with honor from the China National CMD
Program.
As ACMA president,
he is an internationally well-known doctor due to his contributions to
Chinese Medicine and highly successful practices at ACMA Treatment Center and ACMA
Cancer Center.

Chun-Su
Yuan, MD, PhD
Dr.
Yuan is the Cyrus Tang Professor in the Pritzker School of Medicine, and
Director of the Tang Center for Herbal Medicine Research, University of
Chicago.
During his Ph.D. program at the University of Arizona, Dr. Yuan passed
the U.S. medical board exams for foreign physicians and started his practice
in 1983. Since 1994, Dr. Yuan has
been at the University of Chicago conducting clinical trials in evaluating the
safety and efficacy of novel compounds for new drug development.
Dr. Yuan has published over 150 articles, organized several
complementary and alternative medicine conferences, and edited the Textbook
of Complementary and Alternative Medicine.
In addition, Dr. Yuan is the Editor-in-Chief of the American Journal of Chinese Medicine, the oldest alternative
medicine journal in the U.S.
